Our Carbon Neutral Efforts

One of our sister organisations owns and operates a 500 square km sheep station in the outback region of South Australia. This property has been operated as a traditional sheep station for the past 120+ years and over the last two decades as an Organic steel station. In 2018 we started to substantially modify the property to operate within the low carbon environment and, proudly, since April 2021 our property has been registered as a Carbon Farm by the Clean Energy Regulator of Australia.

The quantum of the carbon credits we are generating negate the carbon footprint of our business in its own right and one of our strategies for the future is to work through what it means to offer our excess credits to our clients of Wireless to offset their own carbon footprints given our property continues to generate a substantial amount of carbon credits each year.  

Even seeing it with your own eyes, its hard to fathom the vastness and beauty of the property’s natural bushland. It is truly a privilege to be in a position where we are able to place this focus on supporting the environment and also provide this opportunity to customers in the future.

Our management team continue to embark on projects to develop methodologies where our customers can benefit from working with an ICT company that has access to substantial carbon credits, with the vision of offering an additional benefit over and above providing traditional ICT services.
